How Can We Help?
Notary Services
To Notarize a document(s), you need to know which term of notarization you are looking to complete. Example: Many clients will require that the Notary notarize their signature on the original document or notarize that your document is the original. You may also request that the Notary notarize a true copy of the original document.
Notarize & Witness a Signature
Do not sign the document as it must be signed in front of the notary. You will be asked to print your full name beside your signature. If your document requires a witness, both yourself and the witness must bring GOVERNMENT ID which matches the name on the document.
Affidavits & Commission of Oaths
We don’t draft Affidavits, Statutory Declarations, or Solemn Declarations. Save some money and see out “Legal Forms” section. Our prices only cover swearing an oath, a solemn affirmation, or solemn declaration.
Travel Document
Need to travel with a child? You will need a Consent to Travel notarized and signed in front of the Notary. Only the ones that are giving the consent need to sign and not the one travelling with the child. See “Legal Forms” to download a example of a Consent to Travel Document.
Electronic Document Certification
The Notary can certify documents which can only be found on a website or email. You will have to show both either the website or email digitally in front of the Notary. Your copy of such will be certified by the Notary however please note that the Notary can not offer legal advise. It will be your responsibility to know if the document is satisfactory to the institution requirements.
Power of Attorney & Continuing Power of Attorney
A Power of Attorney is a document where you appoint someone to act on your behalf. A Continuing Power of Attorney is a document set up to take care of a person’s interests if they become mentally incapacitated. We don’t draft Powers of Attorney (POA) however check our “Legal Forms” for an example on how to create one yourself.
Registrant Identification Number (RIN)
Need your RIN Notarized? A RIN is used to register a vehicle for a Corporation or business located in Ontario. North Toronto Notary can notarize such documents for this use.
US Notary Consulate (Apostilles)
In Canada, US Apostilles are not an option however; Canada does have a process that is equivalent. The Notary will notarize your documents for use in the United States. These documents may also need Authentication with the US Consulate. Additional fees to Authenticate documents with US Consulate may apply. North Toronto Notary is registered with the United States Consulate and with such qualifications; we can Notarize documents for use in the United States. See Prices for full disclosure.
Notary Authentication
At times the institution requesting a Notary Seal will also request that the Notary seal, stamp and signature of a Notary Public be authenticated. In this situation, the Notary will notarize your documents, then have your documents authenticated. Addition fees will apply. See Prices for full disclosure.
